Pierre Singer, M.D., Emergency Medicine, Nutrition and Diabetes Expert

Dr. Singer has over 30 years of clinical and academic experience. He currently maintains appointments as the Director of the General Intensive Care department, head of the Institute of Nutrition Research (2006-present) at Rabin Medical Center, and director of the Metabolism laboratory at the Medical Center. He was the chairman of the Israel Society for Clinical Nutrition (ISCN) from 2005-2009, and Chairman of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) (2010-2014). Dr. Singer has supervised more than 50 clinical and academic research theses. 

Professor Zamir Halpern, M.D. Nutrition and Gastroenterology Expert

Prof. Halpern is a Professor of medicine, Sackler Faculty of Medicine Tel Aviv University. He is the Chair of the Israeli National Council of Nutrition, Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases. He was 2010-2013 Chairman-elect, Israeli Gastroenterology Association (IGA). He is the Director of the Digestive Diseases Center of the Department of Gastroenterology/Hepatology at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Israel. He also served as the Deputy Director of the Sourasky Medical Center. He has vast clinical experience in Israel and abroad including at the Cleveland Clinic and The Royal Free Hospital. Prof. Halpern is a member of multiple medical associations in Israel, the United States and Europe. He has more than 150 publications to his credit. Prof. Halpern is a graduate of the Hadassah Medical School, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The Late (2022) Professor Shmuel Einav Ph.D., Biomedical Engineering Expert

Shmuel was a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University and the Director of the Medical Technologies Division at the Center of Excellence for Wireless and Information Technologies (“CEWIT”). He was the Director of Ramot – University Authority for Applied Research and Industrial Development Ltd., the technology transfer organization of Tel Aviv University. Dr. Einav also was a founder or advisor to several medical device companies, and was a member of the advisory board of several venture capital funds. Dr. Einav was the emeritus Herbert Berman Chair for Vascular Bioengineering at Tel Aviv University. He has been elected as a Fellow of the International College of Medical and Biological Engineering, and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (“AIMBE”). Dr. Einav was a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the California Institute of Technology (“Caltech”). In addition, he was the President of the Israeli Society for Medical and Biological Engineering.

Adam Gonzalez, Ph.D. – Stress, Anxiety & Mind-Body Treatment Expert

Dr. Gonzalez is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Founding Director of the Mind-Body Clinical Research Center at Stoney Brook University. He is an expert in cognitive behavioral treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, dialectical behavior therapy, relaxation/mindfulness-based treatments and behavioral medicine. His program of research focuses on understanding the interplay of cognitive, emotional and behavioral health factors that may affect physical and mental health, as well as disease management among chronically ill populations. Dr. Gonzalez received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Vermont, and he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.Dr. Gonzalez has published 30 manuscripts and is currently the principal investigator of four federally funded grants totaling more than $2.6 million. One of these projects is a three-year randomized clinical trial (RCT) evaluating the efficacy of a novel mind-body treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and respiratory symptoms in WTC responders. He received two awards to prospectively evaluate the health effects of exposure to Hurricane Sandy, and one award to conduct a RCT to evaluate a brief resilience-training program for Hurricane Sandy responders

Professor Giora Weisz M.D.- Cardiology Expert

Professor Weisz is the Director of Interventional Cardiology, Montefiore Medical Center, New York. He was the Chairman of the cardiology department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel; Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, and Director of the Cardiovascular Research at the Medical Center. Dr. Weisz is an internationally recognized researcher focused on innovative technologies in cardiovascular medicine. He has pioneered the use of novel robotic-enhanced coronary interventions, including navigation and positioning technologies. Dr. Weisz has been the Principal Investigator for pivotal clinical studies leading to FDA approval of cutting-edge technologies for interventional cardiology device  as well as leading multicenter cardiology studies. Dr. Weisz has published extensively in the most prestigious peer-review medical journals related to the field of interventional cardiology. Dr. Weisz underwent advanced training in interventional cardiology at the renowned Lenox Hill Hospital and Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York City.

Natan Bar-Chama, M.D., Male Health Expert

Dr. Bar Chama is a board certified urologist who, following his urology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, was awarded the New York Academy of Medicine F.C. Valentine Fellowship and sub-specialized in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at The Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. For the last 20 years, Dr. Bar-Chama has been the Director of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery and is on faculty in both the Departments of Urology and Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Science at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Bar-Chama’s practice is exclusively dedicated to the fields of male infertility and sexual medicine, and he has published extensively and lectured throughout the world in these areas. He is past president of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU) and currently serves on the board of directors of the patient advocacy organization, Path2 Parenthood. Annually, since 2005 Dr. Bar-Chama has been listed in New York Magazine’s Best Doctor list of urologists.

Joshua Lavie, M.A.- Clinical Psychology Expert

Mr. Lavie is a Clinical Psychologist and group therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience with children, adolescents and adults as Clinical Psychologist (Tel Aviv University) and Group Analyst (London Institute of Group Analysis), with special expertise in the treatment of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorders) and addictive conditions. Supervises and teaches at various institutes in Israel and abroad. He has published numerous scientific and clinical articles.

Dor Sela – Marketing & Business Development Expert

Former head the global consumer marketing operations for MasterCard, and currently managing a large scale international group that specializes in fasion & toys. Mr. Sela started his professional career while founding a company during his B.A studies in Tel-Aviv University. He later sold the company and joined P&G in the brand management function. Worked for almost a decade in P&G in various marketing and managerial positions across 3 continents. He moved in 2004 to Reckitt Benckiser to turnaround the Near East business. In 2010, Mr. Sela moved to Paris, France to become a member of the executive committee of Carrefour – the world 2nd largest retailer. In Carrefour he managed the multibillion Global Own label business with development of over 15,000 products with a network of 2000 suppliers to transform the business from a buying focused operation to a consumer goods one.

Tal Givoly – Chief Technology Advisor

Tal has over 25 years of systems and software development experience. He has held management positions in technology, innovation, intellectual property, research, development, standards, and product management at Amdocs, XACCT, Medivizor, MIS, and other companies, with a proven track record in “realizing visions,” both in startups from inception and in multinational corporations. He was Chief Scientist at Amdocs (NYSE: DOX) and led innovation activities across the company including heading up Amdocs’ technology incubation unit and open innovation programs (2004-2011).Tal is a prolific inventor with over 25 granted patents and many more pending. He holds a Dual B.Sc. Cum Laude in Mathematics and Physics from Tel Aviv University.

Dr Jonathan Rieck, M.D. – Sport and Emergency Medicine Expert

Head of the Acute Diagnostic Unit at the Assuta Hospital Tel Aviv, Israel. Previously served as a senior physician in the Emergency Room of the Chaim Sheba Medical Center (one of the largest in Israel) and was one of the pioneers in the field in Israel, and was granted specialist status with the founding of the specialization in Israel. From 2003 up to 2011 served as the Deputy Director and “stand in” Head of the Emergency Department at the Sheba Medical Center. A long-standing affinity for sports, as a top class athlete, and as a physician to elite soldiers (during twenty years of reserve service) and the Hapoel Tel Aviv Football Club, over the last eight years. Has initiated within these frameworks new approaches to maintaining health and preventing injuries, and has worked in close association with other professionals in the field of sports training.
